How NFC Tags Work

- Generate an NFC tag in the PLnTrk app for your plant or batch.
- Program the tag by writing data to it through your NFC-enabled device.
- Attach the tag to your plant or growing location.
- Tap your phone to the tag to instantly access or update plant data.

How to Program an NFC Tag
Follow these simple steps to program your NFC tag with the PLnTrk app:
- Ensure NFC is enabled on your device.
- Hold your device near the NFC tag. If it scans the tag and goes to a blank page, click back while keeping the tag in place.
- Click the "Write to NFC Tag" button to program the tag.
- After 10 seconds, remove the NFC tag and bring it back to your phone’s NFC reader section—it will navigate to the plant’s "Log Data" page.
- If the card does not read on the first try, attempt again.
