Woohoo today I was finally able to get the clips on her. Perfect day cuz it’s a feeding day for all the girls. She is definitely looking lovely!

As predicted she was right back at attention this morning, so I tucked everything back into the trellis. I give her another day or two before she will be ready for me to start with the low stress training clips. Yay!

Low stress training with the trellis today. She will likely pop back into place, but until those stalks get a little longer, I cannot use clips so I tucked the leaves into the net. All in all, Molly is looking fine!

Not a full plant pic but an important one in my opinion. Looking at that pure green stalk I thought it was a good idea to state that this is what a happy plants stalk will look like. One of the first signs of stress are purple lines running vertically up your plant. This will indicate at what parts of its growth were done with stressors as you can have just sections of lines and the rest be all green. These lines help me find which branches will make the best clones as we always want stress free cuts. Otherwise the stress of the mother carries on to her children. Too much and your favorite strain could turn into one of your biggest pains.

Happy Saturday! A day of rest for most people. For me, that means defoliation, training, refilling my water reservoirs for my main grow spaces. Luckily the Pink OG Berry is still young, so there isn’t much to do for her right now.
The mini bucket hydro plant’s tap root is visible in the soil plug, so I am hoping to see the plant start to give my some poses worth photographing.

Gah the lights are off and I forgot to take a pic earlier, but I finally have the camera securely set up in the tent so now I can peek in on her from anywhere I have a WiFi or data plan connection. Gotta love technology!

So I re topped her this morning because I was 1 node too high. I like to cut at the 4th, but what I got was the 5th. Honestly with her height, I am likely going to cut her down to the 3rd node. This is because I want to keep her shorter for as long as possible. Making sure she stays healthy and happy in this small space is super important for a mother plant as all clones take on the stress of their mother because they are a genetic match. That is why we only take the healthiest and best looking cuts. To ensure we have a great plant from said cutting.

Oh snap it looks like my topping may have it truth been a FIMing! So she might end up being a 4 headed hydra instead of a 2 headed dragon. And for those who are unsure of the term FIM, it simply means “Fuck, I Missed!” Lol. Idk why anyone would curse when it can cause the plant to create twice as many main stalks.

Well she is so big already that she barely can fit on the screen when looking through my tent cam. Not a bad problem to that, that’s for sure! I was assuming I’d hit at least a few slow growth days as she recovered from her topping, but nope, she is reaching for the stars!

Oooo her stalk is getting thicker! That is why a constant breeze and silica go hand in hand. Gotta build that strong base so she can support her own weight through the entire grow process. This makes me a happy plant papa!
